Location: Service Club Park 1190 Harbor Drive South, Venice, FL Shore dive for megalodon teeth. Very easy, beginner level, shore dive between the beach entrance and the pier. Swim out until you're about 20' deep and start looking around. Item: Small Ground Cover Message: I wasn't sure I was going to use the draw string until I actually did. When I took my shoes & swimsuit up to the showers to rinse off the sand, I was easily able to bundle them all up and carry them back to put them in my dive bin. |
Location: Alexander Springs Ocala National Forest 49525 County Rd 445, Altoona, FL 32702 Item: Changing Cape - Medium (purple pockets to go with her purple ground cover) Message: Alexander Springs is one of the few places where you can not only scuba dive but also swim with mermaids on some weekends! It's a healthy walk to the water from the parking area but the cool, year-round 72 degree water is worth it. This is a very easy, beginner level dive. |

Location: Wreck: USS Spiegel Grove Key Largo, FL Item: Changing Cape - Large (red pockets to with her red ground cover) Message: There are SO many dive charters you could use in Key Largo but we used Horizon Divers on recommendation. They were, hands down, without a doubt, the BEST dive charter I have ever used. Professional on every level, prepared for everything, and the best captain and crew I've ever met. If you need a dive charter in Key Largo, they won't disappoint. I only wish I brought more for their tip! |
Location: Paradise Springs Ocala, FL Item: Changing Cape - Large (Gray pockets to go with her ground cover) Message: One of the very best springs to dive in the area. It's in a rustic, horse farm setting that only adds to it's charm and appeal. This crystal clear spring goes down 100' in an overhead environment so a little experience diving in this kind of environment is recommended. AOW is required. Googling Paradise Springs Florida will give you more information along with some great pics. |
Location: Devil's Den Williston, FL Item: A small and large ground cover used together Message: We were at one of Florida's most interesting dive sites, Devil's Den. A fun dive location for beginners to explore with crystal clear water - just don't forget your flashlight. |
